Character-luokan vertaa(char x, char y) -menetelmää käytetään kahden char-arvon vertaamiseen numeerisesti. Lopullinen palautettu arvo on samanlainen kuin se, jonka palauttaisi:
Character.valueoOf(x).compareTo(Character.valueOf(y))

Parametri
Yllä oleva menetelmä vaatii kaksi parametria:
- char x, joka on ensimmäinen vertailtava merkki
- char y, joka on toinen vertailtava merkki
Palautusarvo
Merkkiluokan vertaa (char x, char y) -menetelmä palauttaa
- arvo 0, jos x==y
- arvo on pienempi kuin 0, jos x
- arvo on suurempi kuin 0, jos x>y.
